“Equine Adoption, Rehabilitation, and Education Center”

Miracle Ranch Foundation is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization.  Our main mission is to rescue horses from being slaughtered and to raise awareness to the American public,  horse lovers and  owners of the existence of foreign owned slaughterhouses.   Miracle Ranch Foundation will also educate the public utilizing rescued horses for equine assisted growth and learning.

We are gratful that American slaughterhouses have been closed; however the meat buyers continue to flood livestock auctions to purchase horses and send them to Canada,  Mexico and other countries. 

At the Foundation, we provide an alternative for these horses.  We also believe that equine education is a primary reason that horses are returned to the system.  A lot of people that adopt or even buy these horses do not know the basic nature of a horse therefore do not understand how to handle them. 

Horses are an important part of American  culture, heritage, economy and add tremendous value as companions and recreational animals. They should be afforded a more humane end of life than being brutally slaughtered.

It has  been said "History was written on the back of a horse".  Without horses we would have no country. It's only been within the last century that horses have not been a 100 percent necessity.
