Miracle Ranch Foundation was formed on July 20, 2007, as a Texas nonprofit corporation for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c )(3) of the Internal Revenue Code .

The Foundation will work with other equine rescue organizations and facilities, law enforcement and the general public to obtain horses for rehabilitation and placement in caring, loving, safe and secure homes to save them from premature and inhumane disposal.

We believe that most of the time these horses can be put back into society as a functioning animal with proper training.
It is also our belief that horses can be turned around with loving, positive techniques and become a productive part of society.  A lot of their “issues” are not “horse” issues, they are “people” issues.

Our philosophy is that most horses can be rehabilitated and trained. The Foundation believes that the placement of rescued horses is delayed due to the amount of horses that are not trained, or re-trained. Properly trained horses are  more apt to be adopted.

The horses will be cared for and trained at a thirty five acre ranch facility  in Medina, Texas.  If you would like to surrender  or a adopt a horse, please contact us by email or by phone.  We will then advise you as to the process.  All persons wishing to adopt a horse will be required to fill out an application, have proper facilities, references, and sufficient funding to care for the horse.  All persons wishing to surrender a horse will need to have a current negative Coggins, and submit a letter of surrender to Miracle Ranch Foundation.  If you wish to donate your horse, you will receive a tax deductible receipt for the estimated value of your horse.
