Sponsorship
of our horses is crucial to our programs. You may choose any of the horses listed below to sponsor. Your sponsorship
of $25.00 per horse, per month, or any one time donation of $25.00 or more, will help us put money back into the education
programs, support our rescue efforts, and take great care of these beautiful animals! This is the perfect opportunity
for someone that loves horses but does not have the land or experience needed to take care of a horse! With each commitment
to sponsor, we will send you a picture along with more information about your horse. Each month we'll send you an update
to let you know the progress that your horse is making, thanks to your help! Our hope is that through this adoption program,
people like you will really get the sense that they are truly making a difference in the lives of these horses!
Miti
is a wonderful horse with a “rowdy” personality! He is so much fun to watch and is a character
in his own right. Miti had some extreme issues with his hooves, but he is fine now and will be used for
intermediate to advanced riders. He is a beautiful palomino
San Java is
a beautiful bay mare that shows signs of being extremely abused. We are working diligently with San Java
to help her overcome her fear of humans. She is very sweet, but will also be used for intermediate to advanced
riders. She has wonderful manners and needs lots of love and attention!
Chiron
is one of our “Willie Nelson Signature Horses” adopted from Habitat for Horses for our children’s programs.
Chiron is a very sweet horse with a great temperament. He is a perfect horse for aiding in our children’s
educational programs, however due to neglect, Chiron developed cancer in his right eye lid. He is currently
undergoing medical treatment from Texas A&M to try to slow down the growth of the cancer, and we will not be able
to use him in our program. His medication costs about $150.00 per prescription, and he needs frequent visits
to the vet. If you would like to aide in his comfort and help us cover his medical costs, you can virtually
sponsor him by donating money directly to Chiron’s care fund. He is a wonderful animal, and deserves
your help!
Update On Chiron's Health!
We are happy
to say that Chiron is responding well to his medicine and is doing great.
Aztec is also a wonderful horse! He is extremely gentle and loving. He will be used
in our programs with children with light riding. Aztec has some problems with his hooves. He
also has some signs of arthritis in his knees, and is extremely tender after a visit from the farrier. He
is a very easy horse to fall in love with.
We received three beautiful Caspian mares that were
donated to the Miracle Ranch. Angel, the white mare, is the mother of the other two horses. Strawberry Shortcake is the
reddish mare with the white face, and the youngest of the three is a 2 year old brown mare named Blueberry. They look
like miniature Arabian horses and are as cute as can be! They will be the perfect horse for our future children's
program. Click on the Caspian link on the left side
of the page to find out more information.
